3D Printing I

The class will focus on the important concepts of designing parts that can be 3D printed and also teach participants how to operate the labs 3D Printers. By the end of the course students will have prepared their own designs for printing and learned how to operate one of the labs FDM(Extrusion) based 3D Printers. Students will schedule a time to return to print their part or let the instructor print the part for pickup later. This class does not teach usage of the Form 1 3d printer for usage of that printer please see the FORM 1 intro class.

* Fee Notes: Includes cost of materials and machine time for printing. Prerequisites: This class does not require knowledge of CAD but for individuals who do not know how to create their own 3d Designs the Intro to Inventor Class is recommended.
