  1. Sunday May 25, 10:00 - 2:00 PM

Thic course will familiarize you with the process of precast concrete counter-top fabrication. Including mold creation, inlays, builtins, mixing, and pouring. We will do a sample counter top as part of the process. This is a great class to learn how to create counter tops for your next DIY project.

I want to replace my bathroom/kitchen countertops, will this class teach me how to do this? Does "builtins" include reinforcement for structural integrity?

In the session I took of this class we built small 6" square samples that did not require structural reinforcement. We did, however, discuss thoroughly how to build for large scale. The countertops in the lab were all poured in house so your instructor will be more than knowledgeable and available to share any details/advice/direction about your specific intended project.

Will this class conflict with the concrete countertops class?
